Our Story
NexLift is more than a hauling and logistics company — it’s the product of deep-rooted friendship, shared values, and a legacy that inspires everything we do.
Our story begins with a powerful bond between Matt Knauf and Marcos Pinto — a friendship forged through trust, integrity, and mutual respect. What started as a connection between two families quickly became something greater: a shared mission. Together, Matt and Marcos built two successful companies — Naples Excavating and Demolition and Naples Disposal — with the simple goal of delivering quality service while always honoring the people and communities they served.
In Memory of MECO
Marcos, affectionately known as “MECO”, left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him. When he passed away on December 4th, 2021, his spirit didn’t fade — it grew. His values, work ethic, and unwavering commitment to doing things the right way became the foundation for our next venture: NexLift.
Formed by Matt and Gisela Knauf, alongside Felipe and Fabiano Pinto, NexLift is our tribute to MECO — not just in name, but in action. Every decision we make, every load we haul, and every customer we serve reflects the core values Marcos lived by.
